Our impact is a living tree: where everyone blooms
Our impact is not a spreadsheet. It is a living tree — roots that ground people in stability, a trunk built on trust, branches that open pathways to opportunity, and blossoms of health, healing, culture and connection.
Finding the forgotten
We find the people the system has forgotten and we refuse to let them disappear. Working across Newham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Enfield, and Barking & Dagenham – and beyond – BLOSSOM GROUP shows up every day, in every community language, for the people others walk past.
Our impact is not a spreadsheet; it is a living tree. Its roots ground people in stability, its trunk is built on trust, its branches open pathways to opportunity, and its blossoms bring health, healing, culture, and connection.
Roots of stability
Grounded, strong, and ready when crisis comes. Through our initiatives, we provide essential support:
- Over 50,000 people have shared meals, friendship, and belonging at the Togetherness Villages.
- Over 50,000 families have been supported through The Community Box, assisting with benefits and housing.
UJALA: The Light Project
The clearest example of turning trust into change is UJALA – The Light Project. Ujala means light, and we chose the name because the project was built on a single conviction: the community becomes the light. South Asian women in East London face significant barriers to mental health support, including language, culture, stigma, and mistrust of clinical settings.
We knew another leaflet wouldn't fix this. So, before designing anything, we listened. We sat in kitchens, gurdwaras, and mosques to understand their needs deeply.

Every health issue matters — especially the ones no one talks about.
- 90+ yoga sessions, including Yoga 4 All
- 300+ community walks
- 200+ health and wellbeing activities the mainstream misses
- 90+ public health events, including 'No Smoking, No Shisha, No Paan, No Nuswaar'
Alongside these: South Asian women's mental health circles, diabetes and cancer support, drug and alcohol recovery, domestic violence, forced marriage, modern slavery and FGM.

- 200+ community gatherings of music, food, poetry and joy
- 15,000+ weekly listeners through our partnership with Nagrecha Radio
From Sahir's dementia storytelling in Punjabi, to the Bazaar of the Story Tellers, from Poetry Junction to community radio — this is where culture meets equity.
Every number here is a person who was not going to be seen — until Blossom saw them.

We provide education, support, health and wellness — and we fight for the people the system was never designed to serve.

A Togetherness Village in every borough we serve
One Villages serves tens of thousands, but it's only one day a week, in one borough. Every Wednesday, people travel from across London to reach it, a clear sign of demand. We want a Togetherness Villasgein every East London borough—Newham, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge, Enfield, Barking & Dagenham—running on different days. This way, no one is more than a short bus ride and a chai away from belonging. Different boroughs, same warmth, same 98 languages, same no-referral-needed door.
