Our Inspiration: A Promise of Belonging

What inspired us to start BLOSSOM GROUP? It began with a simple, painful truth: Too many people in our communities were being ignored. We started it as a response to being left out, a refusal to keep translating systems that weren’t built for us, and a promise that belonging is not optional—it’s everything.

Jaspreet's Chair: The Impact of Your Donations

Your support doesn’t disappear into systems. It lands in real lives. When Jaspreet, an 80-year-old widow, first came to our Dil Se Dil Tak bereavement café, she didn’t speak much. Your donation paid for the warm, welcoming space, the tea and snacks, the facilitator who spoke her language, and the transport voucher that got her there safely. It creates belonging.

Challenges and Solutions in East London

In East London, the need is huge—but the system is slow. We work with communities that are often mislabelled as “hard to reach”. Language barriers, stigma, digital exclusion, and lack of culturally appropriate services mean people fall through the cracks. Your donation helps us translate information, train facilitators, pay for spaces, provide transport, and run our radio shows.
